This is a work in progress so check back often for updates

I have been thinking about this piece for nearly 2 years now. I was asked over 1.5 years ago to paint a work that would instantly bring the viewer to the prairies. The client that commissioned me to do this work lives in the Toronto area and wants to have a piece of art that reminds him of "growing up" in Saskatchewan.

This work will have a brilliant blue sky with puffy white clouds that seem to stretch on forever. Canola and flax crops will be in bloom. There will also be some green fields along with the bales of hay near the town. The "town" is anywhere so no town name will be on the elevators.

The name for this piece must be a special one that will say "The Prairies" and bring back memories to anyone who has experienced the endless skies of the prairies.

Good Luck with your suggestions!  - Glen Scrimshaw  (hint- "I like two or three word names")
