Rising from the southern plains, upper reaches of The Cypress Hills are the highest point in Saskatchewan measuring in at 1392 metres above sea level. They remained untouched by glaciers during the last ice age, leaving them to be some of the highest points in Canada between the Rockies and Labrador.
As one can see in this masterpiece, some of Saskatchewan's most magnificent sunsets can be witnessed from The Bald Butte lookout located in The Cypress Hills.
