"Batoche National Historic Site of Canada" is located near the South Saskatchewan River north of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. 

The Saint Antoine de Padoue Church which is a Classified Federal Heritage building is located on the site.  Bullet holes above the doorway to the church are the most tangible evidence of the historic Battle of Batoche that occurred here in May of 1885.
